Interessante invalshoek, in een vraaggesprek met Charlie Rose, van de briljante cineast David Lynch: “People who make a film that’s set in the fifties now, go and find fifties furniture, put it in the house and make the film while in reality when you walked into somebody’s house in the fifties you’d see furniture from the twenties, thirties, forties. Hardly anyone had the fifties stuff.”
